Our pack's first day trip this year should be a lot of fun! Longhorn Caverns State Park is located a short distance away, near Burnet, Tx (about 1 hour drive). We will have a private tour of the caverns right after lunch. Plan on meeting up ahead of time for a picnic lunch and have some fun enjoying the park. The cavern should be a welcomed break from the heat we've had this summer.

ARRIVAL: 11:30am

We will plan on meeting outside the main entrance to the visitor center at 11:30 and then head to the picnic table area (seen on the map). We hope to have a couple of people arriving earlier to help find a picnic table and setup. If you arrive after 11:30am, look for us around the picnic table areas - you shouldn't be able to miss the bright orange shirts. You are welcome to arrive earlier or stay later if you want to hike around the park on your own. If you do not plan on joining the picnic, plan on arriving for the tour check-in at approximately 12:30pm.

Let's show off our pack and plan on wearing our Class B shirts. If you are new to the pack and need one, please see the online store or contact one of the pack leaders.
