We're planning an informal meetup to watch the bats emerge from underneath the Congress Ave. Bridge. The bats usually come out around sunset or shortly afterwards.

Day: Saturday, October 1

Arrival Time: 6:30-7:00pm

Location: Small field next to The Austin American Statesman (just SE of the Congress Bridge).

I believe the parking lot there is a pay lot. I also don't know if it fills up early, but there should be other parking available nearby.

Wear your orange Class B shirts

Feel free to bring your own picnic dinner or snacks to eat out there. Also, consider bringing sunscreen and bug spray.
